Regis College

I had the pleasure of accepting a generous contribution to Regis College. It was passed along to me through Brendan Flynn, with the accompanying description of your holiday gift-giving. I write to thank you personally and to congratulate you and all in the company for a splendid idea. We are most grateful to be included in your generosity. Regis College is the small Jesuit Grade faculty of theology at the University of Toronto. We have been the Jesuit seminary in English speaking Canada for over seventy years, more recently combining in the federation of theological schools known as the Toronto School of Theology. A College like ours is completely dependant on the generosity of a few good friends; our alumni(ae) are almost all ministers of the gospel, many in far-off places around the world. Unlike most educational institutions, the alums are a source of great pride for us, but not, unfortunately a lot of financial assistance. So, again, on behalf of all of us here at Regis, let me thank you for your contribution to our ministry. Be assured of a continuing place in our thoughts and prayers for yourself and all whom you serve.

Associated Hebrew Schools of Toronto

I donated my cheque to Associated Hebrew Schools of Toronto. This is the school my children attend. Tuition fees have been unaffordable for me and I was most happy to finally be able to give something back to the school in return for the enriching and challenging learning experiences to which my children are exposed in their education at this school. All of the teachers, principal, supervisors and support staff are extremely dedicated and caring people and I am sure the BWI donation is most appreciated and will be used in the best possible way.
